that, there's no external packaging to speak of, which is for the best, since this allows an unhindered look at the artwork on all sides of the item.
Appearance : You can't help but love this charming little box. The artwork on both faces is fantastic (though somewhat dark). One face features a great image of Yoda, Luke and R2, while the other shows a tense moment with Chewie, Leia, C-3PO and Han aboard the Millenium Falcon. The sides also show scenes from The Empire Strikes Back. All in all, very impressive. Its dimensions are approximately 6" x 5", without counting the handle.
Features and Accesories : This isn't a toy, so it really doesn't do much, but it does have a lot in its favor. Those of you who own or once owned the original King Seeley version of this lunch box know that tin is prone to rust, so this makes a great replacement. This version, like all other entries in Hallmark's School Days collection, is limited in production, and numbered accordingly. The total number made, however, is somewhat fuzzy. Mine is numbered 2E / 7575, so make of that what you will. The tag mentions a Certificate of Authenticity, though I've yet to open mine to confirm its existence. About the only thing missing is a miniature thermos!
Overall : A high quality collectible that will bring back those childhood memories we all try to forget. (Kidding!) It's a worthy addition to any collection.
