Ceramic Cookie Jar : This bootleg was somehow cast from the
Applause Yoda puppet
. Note the extra detail added in the form of a cookie in Yoda's left hand.

Miniature ROJ figures : Without a doubt, one of the highest quality bootlegs ever made. These 2.5 "  figures came packaged in an attractive black window box with the Star Wars logo printed on it, and as you can see, are very similar to Legos. They resemble  Kubrick / Medicom figures, though they are definitely not official. The detail on these figures is unbelievable for bootlegs. Not only that, but they also included a background to pose the figures and authentic accessories. Sets were also made for ESB and ANH. According to the packaging, these were manufactured in China, though no more clue as to their maker appears anywhere.
Yoda soda : "I met him in a swamp down in Dagobah, where it bubbles all the time like a giant carbonated soda!" If Weird Al's immortal words ever gave you a powerful thirst, here's your chance to quench it in style, with Yoda soda. Completely unauthorized, you won't find these in your local supermarket.
Boy Scout patches : These nice Yoda patches were issued at the 1997 National Jamboree. According to some who attended, there were four different borders for the patches: brown, green, silver, and gold.
The Third Millenium Yoda T-shirt : Yoda can have a powerful influence on people with disposable income, which is why he's on this unauthorized shirt, along with the phrase: "The Third Millenium." I guess Yoda would promote the third millenium... if it were declining in popularity, or something...
Bootleg unpainted keychain : Allegedly a vintage item, this keychain features one of the ugliest likenesses of Yoda you will ever lay eyes upon.
Mardi Gras Gold Coin : Hey, another Mardi Gras item! I saw this very cool coin up for auction in both gold and green, and if you believe the date, these were sold in 1986.
Bootleg Revenge of the Jedi patch : Some of you may have noticed that a nearly identical item is listed in the Vintage collectibles section. The fact is that while some authentic Revenge patches were produced, bootlegs abound, are commonly available, and are difficult to spot. Be wary of any color variations or detail loss, and for your own safety, don't pay for one if you're unsure of its authenticity..
Phillipine POTF2 bootleg : Check out this weird thing! Yoda is gray, comes on a Shadows of the Empire card, and for some incredible reason, an AT-AT driver is pictured on the card! Check out Obi-Wan next to him. His lightsaber is a brown stick! This figure was supposedly distributed in the Phillipines.
Mexican figure : Can you believe Lucasfilm actually licensed this thing?!? Nope, neither can I. This figure comes from Mexico.
Revenge of the Jedi Proof Card : As many of you already know, the original title for Return of the Jedi was Revenge of the Jedi, and since Kenner needed to plan its packaging well ahead of time, some
Revenge
proof cards were made. When it was decided that the title would be changed, several saavy employes "rescued" many of the cards from destruction, and they are now prized collectibles.
Unauthorized Mardi Gras poster : From New Orleans in 1981. It may not be licensed, but it is one cool item.
Some of the pictures and information on this section came from The Star Wars Collector's Archive. Visit their site for more information on these and other unproduced Star Wars items.
Vintage Hungarian Bootleg Yoda : Entire sets of bootleg figures were available in Hungary. Most were made from original molds, but some have odd differences. As you can see, Yoda has a pig-like snout!
Unproduced Micro Collection Yoda : This is an unpainted hardcopy of a figure was meant to go along with a Micro Collection Dagobah playset, which also went unproduced. However, it is not an original hardcopy but a 1990s copy, though it does represent the prototype's true form and was likely made from an original mold or an authentic hardcopy. It can be identified as such due to its being made of a blue urethane, which was not in use at Kenner during the time of the Micro Collection's development. The figure is very nicely detailed, and it's a shame the whole playset was unproduced. Click

Unproduced Topps Star Wars Galaxy II promo card : Topps wanted to use this card as a promotional item for their upcoming card set, but Lucasfilm nixed the idea because of the unauthorized idolization of the Yoda character. A few of these, however, escaped undestroyed from the factory and are highly sought after. Here is a picture of the back of the card.
Talking pull-string Yoda : One of the legendary unproduced vintage items, this one got as far as sales samples and finished packaging, but remained unproduced. The reasons why are a mystery, since the quality of this item is impressive, and I'm sure all of us who owned pull-string toys as kids remember them as having a unique charm.  Here is a side view and a back view of the toy. Less than a dozen prototypes are known to exist. For more information on it, including recordings of Yoda's eight phrases, visit The Star Wars Collector's Archive.
Bootleg statuette? : I saw this up for auction once, but there wasn't much in the description. What is it? Where did it come from? Who knows, but it has the unpolished look of a bootleg to me. Still, a very curious item.
Fighting Yoda bootleg : I've heard this is a pretty common item at conventions. At one point it was rumored to be a design model for Episode II. Let's hope Lucasfilm gets better ideas.
Bootleg ceramic statue : This ceramic statue has a very unique look. I have no idea where it came from.
Bootleg wind-up toy : A strange looking wind up toy which I believe was sold in Japan. Note the questionable likeness.
POTF2 bootleg Yoda : I'm not sure where this came from, though I think it was Argentina. Note the slightly different head and inferior paint job.
